ilocos november 2014 part seven: marcos museum

Posted on: January 19, 2015

we went to the marcos museum earlier, i’m not a fan but i like museums, or maybe… i just like ogling stuff, haha.

oh hai chucks! as of this writing, it is now retired but still in my care. on a side note, interesting tile pattern…

i didn’t know that marcos was kind of good looking when he was younger…

all the good stuff are on the second floor of the building though, and was so thankful for normal sized stairs, char! i specially liked…

the old books, they remind me of the ones i see in our old house in quezon, my grandparents were both teachers and they had all those heavy books. i think we also have a similar copy of charles dickens’ great expectations.

i also liked the old pixxors, you get some insights on how they look like when they were younger, they look so serious though…

old mementos like clothes, fans, plate numbers, and the letters were so nice. marcos had really beautiful handwriting. we also visited his mausoleum, but we weren’t allowed to take pixxors so here a pixxor of their…

old house instead. it’s looks kind of dark and creepy for some reason… i was half expecting some old ghost wave from the balcony.

then finally, we visited their public photo album, haha. i’m not sure what it’s called exactly, but all the pixxors of important people are here, plus clippings of newspapers about their family. i particularly liked the pixxors with royalty, they were all extraordinary… tapos naglunch na kami, haha.

yun lang muna.
