davao september 2014 part one: el bajada hotel
Posted November 5, 2014
on:the office bunnies decided to go back to davao and since there were still some places i’d like to see there, i’d decided to tag along too. it was my first time on an evening flight and had to leave home in the afternoon so i had zero sleep. when we landed, we immediately went to our hotel, but for some reason they said we didn’t have any reservations. so we searched for another one and found…
el bajada hotel in downtown davao. they had an eb sign at the lobby, and my no sleep zombie self was like eggs benedict, eddie bauer, eclair butter… hihi. it’s cozy and clean and their staff are helpful.
the lobby and the dining area were combined on the ground floor, it wasn’t cramped though and the staff rushes over to take your order, heehee.
the zombie bunbuns like the bed! the hotel had a really large bed and one single one and we could dive and get lost in the beds. the room that we got was spacious too. best of all, the wifi’s pretty strong, i could browse through photo heavy websites easily.
i ate a lot at el bajada hotel din, had danggit on our first breakfast there, that was free of course. bought adobo for lunch, which was slightly more sour than what i’m used to but still good and was cheaper than the takeout food from fast food restaurants outside… and then some tocino and egg for our second breakfast. nom nom nom. notice that they have different tables, haha.
so eun, it’s a really nice place to stay if you’re on a budget and not too picky on table settings, lols.
yun lang muna.
