my thai

Posted on: October 2, 2012

last week, maki and i went to my thai… all because i haven’t tried the place yet and it’s been in that same corner of the mall for a few years now. and you know what, the food was really great! sabi nga ni maki, isang malaking check daw!

my thai

khlao … i think that’s silly in thai. hehehe. this was before we stuffed ourselves with all that thai food.

my thai

pretty pattern … i thought the embossed paper placemat was pretty… so i brought it home. or maybe it was just pink. lol. going back to eating though, we ordered…

my thai

thai rice … it’s reminds me of the ones in those little rice in a box stalls where they get mixed with meat, vegetables, spices and seasonings but maybe the cook was in a very good mood because the rice was more like a main thing rather than being a side dish.

my thai

fried chicken … it’s the nuts i tell you, that make this different from all that kfc and bon chon.

my thai

crispy catfish with mangoes … para siyang chicharon with nuts. hahaha! it goes surprisingly well with rice kahit salad siya.

my thai

mango sticky rice … save for the ice cream, it is one ozum dessert. it’s kind of like biko, the filipino sticky rice version, only less sweeter but that’s compensated by the mango partnered with it. nom nom nom.

i wished they played thai music though, the way korean shops blast girls generation or the way japanese stores play those anime ost’s. nevertheless, we had a happy kanin day at my thai. will come back for a big bowl of yum sum oo soon!

yun lang.
